AI Engineer – Generative AI, RAG & Agents
With a focus on Generative AI, RAG and Agents, you’ll design and build systems that enable companies to extract value from their data. You’ll develop smart AI agents, automate workflows and translate cutting-edge techniques into scalable solutions. In doing so, you always keep an eye on security, ethics and technical feasibility.
What will you do?
You will be involved in the creation of GenAI solutions from start to finish: from design and prototyping to production. You build advanced RAG pipelines, including GraphRAG, to securely access enterprise data. In addition, you configure AI agents (via LangChain, Autogen) for decision support and chat interfaces. Setting up prompt templates and evaluation frameworks is an important part of your work, as is implementing guardrails and monitoring for ethical and cost-effective use. You will advise stakeholders on their GenAI strategy, share your knowledge in the community and get plenty of room to experiment with the latest trends.
What do you bring?
- A completed HBO/WO Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science or similar field.
- At least one year of hands-on experience with Generative AI, combined with at least two years of experience in Data Science, ML Engineering or Software Engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering and alignment, and hands-on experience with RAG architectures (e.g. FAISS, Azure AI Search).
- Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, Autogen), knowledge graphs (Neo4j) and cloud deployments (Azure OpenAI, serverless).
- Strong skills in Python/TypeScript and tooling such as LlamaIndex.
- You have a track-record within government, banks or large SMEs and are able to recognize and resolve ethical and legal implications.
