As a consultant, youāll work with a variety of organizations in the healthcare, public sector, and corporate markets. Youāll continue to develop your skills at the intersection of finance and business and gradually advance toward a senior business control role, with guidance tailored to your experience.
What will you do?
As a Mid-Level Business Controller, youāll help organizations with financial analyses, reports, and management information. Youāll translate numbers into insights that enable management to make better decisions. In doing so, youāll work closely with finance, business, and operations teams and gradually grow into an advisory business control role.
Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Analyzing financial and operational performance;
- Preparing and interpreting management and performance reports;
- Provide support with budgets, forecasts, and business cases;
- Identifying risks, deviations, and opportunities for improvement;
- Contribute ideas for improvements in performance management and decision-making;
- Working with data and systems to further professionalize management information.
As you grow, you’ll take on more responsibility and continue to develop into a strong business partner for management and executive leadership.

You don’t have to be an expert in everything just yet; what’s more important is that you have the ambition to grow. As our new Mid-Level Business Controller, you’ll also have:
- A completed associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of work experience in a financial or business control-related role;
- Experience with analysis, reporting, and supporting decision-making;

Youāll work independently at client sites, but youāll always remain connected to BAS. Youāll see your colleagues regularly at social gatherings, training sessions, and team-building days. Youāll become part of a close-knit team of consultants with whom youāll share experiences and grow together.
In addition, you can count on:
- An attractive and competitive salary, based on your experience and expertise;
- You can choose between a leased car or the NS-Business Card, with a mobility budget of up to ā¬1,150 per month. If you choose the NS-Business Card, youāll also receive an additional COā bonus;
- A personal training budget of ā¬6,000 per year, to be used at the training institute Creating Insights;
- The opportunity to pursue a post-masterās or executive masterās degree, such as an RC, RA, or RE program, after 18 months of employment, subject to certain conditions.
- A motivational bonus system based on billable hours or revenue generated. This way, you become a co-owner of your own results;
- A permanent contract (open-ended) and enrollment in our group pension plan;
- Between 25 and 30 vacation days;
