Since this month, George has officially joined our service. Check out his introduction below!

Hey All,

I am George van Oevelen, 34 years old and I have lived in Maarssen for 6 years now. Originally from Zeeland, I fled that vacation destination to Nijmegen to study Physics. There I lived very nicely for 10 years.

I did ballroom dancing for a long time in the past and started playing badminton just before corona (but haven’t done that very much since corona). I enjoy cooking and good food and drink in addition to sports, so need to make sure I get back into sports soon. I also occasionally read a book, enjoy watching series and listen to a lot of podcasts.

I worked as a data analyst in finance for 6 years. There I gained experience with SAS and SQL and experienced some attempts to go to a reporting tool that was not Excel. I enjoy being involved in a company (been a member of works council). And I am very happy to take on this new challenge. Hope to get to know you soon!
